Stop Scrolling, Start Walking
You’ve been grinding all summer — work, weekends, late nights at the Kee, too many drinks, a whirlwind of fun. And when you finally stop, it’s usually on the dock. You unwind for a few moments before you inevitably reach for your phone. You thought you were “unwinding.” But you weren’t. You were just catching your breath in summer’s chaotic storm.
Now it’s almost fall, and the woods are different. They don’t want anything from you. No emails. No half-listened conversations. No endless scroll of people doing better or worse than you. Out there, it’s just steps and breath. Your heart slows. Your brain clears.

Yeah, you’ll sweat a little. Maybe get lost for ten minutes. Maybe soak your boots. But that’s the point. That’s the reset you can’t buy, can’t schedule, can’t fake.
You don’t need a guidebook. You don’t need a plan. You just need to go. Take the trail. Hear yourself breathe. Notice how different that feels compared to everything else.
So go. Hoodie, boots, maybe a coffee in hand. Find a trail. Wander.
