Dunn's Pavilion opened on Bala Bay in 1929, and the hall that's standing now went up in 1942. A dance floor, a lakeside stage, and the water right out the back door. It's been the Kee for most of the years since, and in all that time the lights have gone down on that stage more nights than anybody kept count of.
So we counted.
277 unique acts. The orchestras sit at the centre because they were first: Guy Lombardo, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, the Dorsey Brothers. Then Rush, April Wine, Teenage Head. Then Blue Rodeo, the Hip, Kim Mitchell. Snoop, Drake and The Glorious Sons out at the edge, still going.
No official record exists of who played the Kee. This list was built from lots of research and digging archives, old posters, and hundreds of emails from our campaign telling us what they remembered. It grows every year. If we're missing someone, tell us.
The nights you were there are on there somewhere. That's the whole idea.
Printed large on the back of a black tee, because it's meant to be read. Pure Muskoka Lifestyle Co. small on the left chest.
Side A, 2026 Edition. The Kee books new acts every summer, so this shirt is out of date the day it ships. That's the point. Next year's is a different record.
