Maybe that’s why Valentine’s Day feels a little more important than usual this year.
We want to turn our attention toward something that feels good.
Something we’re grateful for.
Something we all have in common.
Muskoka.
The land that is meaningful to us.
The lakes that hold our happiest memories.
The rocks that ground us.
The quiet mornings, long weekends, and the deep exhale that happens the moment we arrive.
And the happy thoughts we carry with us — even when we aren’t there in person.
WHAT WE'RE CREATING
We’re inviting our community to take part in something special we’re calling
Love Letters to Muskoka.
A growing collection of words, art, photos, and small expressions of gratitude for the place we love.
These love letters will come together as a living display in our store — a wall filled with voices, memories, and moments — and we’ll be sharing select submissions throughout February (with permission, of course).
THERE IS NO RIGHT WAY TO DO THIS
Your love letter can be:
• A short note or handwritten letter
• A poem (polished or messy — both welcome)
• A drawing, painting, or collage
• A photograph (old or new)
• A postcard or Valentine
• Or just a few honest lines scribbled from the heart
It doesn’t need to be fancy.
It just needs to be real.
How to Take Part
Option A: Online Submission
Submit your love letter digitally using the form below.
You can type your words, upload a photo of something handmade or handwritten, or share a photograph that captures what Muskoka means to you.
Option B: In Person / Mail
Prefer something more tangible?
– Drop off your love letter in-store
– Or send it by mail if Muskoka lives in your heart more than your postal code
Every submission, no matter how it arrives, becomes part of the same shared story.
