12 Days of Christmas Wrap-Up

Thank you and a big shout out to all that participated in our 12 Days of (Pure Muskoka) Christmas gift giving event this year.

For those that missed it, starting on the Christmas Day (the first day of Christmas) we hid a gift in the Muskoka region and took a photo of it. We then posted that photo to our Instagram and Facebook accounts and the first person to find it got to keep it. We did this for 12 consecutive days (the 12 days of Christmas) and made sure we covered as much of the Muskoka region as we could.

Traveling around Muskoka and placing the gifts was a bonus for us. We managed to get to Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Bala, Port Carling, Milford Bay, Port Sandfield, Baysville, Walkers Point and Windermere.

The Pure Muskoka community is very engaged as none of the gifts made it past the 20 minute mark once we posted. A few were gone in under 10 minutes.

We had so much fun with this program and we'll bring it back again next year - and maybe we won't make the locations quite so obvious - making it more of a hunt!!!

Here's a collection of our photos along with some of the selfies that you all sent in.

Once again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What a fun event as I tried from Mississauga to get my parents in Bala to race around Muskoka and find the gifts. We all had fun!! Great work Pure Muskoka!
