Sizing Issues

I purchased tshirts from you last Christmas in my husbands usual XL size, but we had to exchange them for XXL because they fit tight. He LOVES the shirts and they are excellent quality. I ordered him another tshirt for his birthday in XXL, which was perfect (and we have a fun family story about a boat ramp, which made the gift even better). I also ordered him a long sleeve and the sweatshirt in XXL but they are both too tight. He is very disappointed (as am I) but we need to return them. I am concerned an exchange won’t work because a XXXL would have giant arms.
