I like the look of this hat, and i feel the construction is durable and rugged. However it feels a bit like a hardhat... stiff and hard. I imagine a thicker fabric headband would eventually get sweat-salty, but it would make it more comfortable. haven;t had this one long enough to know if this construction will then be less likely to get salty? Just saying, this is my "wooden clogs" hat that may last forever (we shall see), but it isn't my "snuggling hat"...
